Day 4 - Emei to Maoxian

On our 4 hours ride from Emei to Maoxian 茂县, we could see a lot of massive construction like this

Cabin view of our coach, everyone still looks fresh, thanks to the spectacular landscape view outside

Some beautiful country side sceneries

Break is necessary not only for human, machine included. Apparently they will need to top up the water tank of the bus, the water is used to cool down the break system by injecting water vapor during breaking to reduce the wearing in mountainous road like these

Toilet break, a lot of these along the road and are run by native tribes people 藏族, cost RMB0.50 per entry

The toilet is overlooking the Min river and hanging in the middle of high cliff, it was bright and windy, a bit chilly so with nice natural view like this, no wonder everyone will smile while doing their business

Some of us top up our stomach with spicy soup noodles while waiting for our coach to refill, everyone looks happy so it was a nice break

A canola flower along the road side

The plant is planted all over the field as extra source of income for the natives -- to be process into canola oil

Our hotel (3 stars rated), can't remember the name. It was run by native "Qiang tribes" 羌族 people

More hotel view

Hotel lobby, basic but sufficient considering this is a place that's in the middle of nowhere. There was a black out of the whole town in one of the night but we were lucky that this hotel has it's own generator to power the heater, if not everyone will have a freezing night with temperature close to 0c

This is a souvenir shop
