Day 1 & 2 - Daying Dead Sea Resort

Our first stop, is Daying Dead Sea Resort. Basically they pump the underground salt water into man made pools to achieve the same medication and therapy effects as the Dead Sea of Middle East. Due to high mineral content, you will float better in the pool than in normal water.

This is the entrance to the resort. A five star according to our brochure but I'll rate it at 4 on quality of their services and material used in the resort furnishing.

This is the front desk, noticed the resort was theme after ancient Egyptian

This is the courtyard of the resort. There is a performance stage at the middle of the court and there is a cultural performance show everyday at about 8pm.

This is our bedroom, a very huge room and there is a nice bathtub and shower in the bath room.

Unfortunately the shower room has poor drainage so the room will get flooded after a heavy shower. Still not much of a problem to us, just need a little bit more patience with the water :)

Dinner is at one of the Chinese restaurant in the resort. 8 courses Sichuan cuisine dinner.

After the dinner, a short break later, all of us went for a nice little soak in the salt water pool which will be shown in the next post.

Breakfast at 7am in the next morning, Chinese style with porridge, buns with peanuts and some preserved vegetables and sunny side up.

Some shots after a slow walk around the resort.
